My roots in the Blue Ridge Mountains provide the inspiration and primary subject of my work – nature. I find joy in creating images of birds, animals, and landscapes which invoke feelings of peace and wonder with occasional twists of whimsey and spirituality.

Having spent my prior professional life in corporate America, I found the creative process therapeutic. Upon retirement, artwork has become my passion and more than just a hobby. I also enjoy painting birdhouses, ornaments and other objects of fancy, and making jewelry. I am still a work-in-progress and continue to explore and expand my craft.
